Prerequisites (Meta side)
For the Instagram DM integration you need: an Instagram Business/Professional account, a Facebook Page linked to that account, a Meta Business account, and a Meta app with the

Prepare your Instagram account
Your Instagram account must be converted to a Business account and linked to a Facebook Page.

Meta app and permissions
Enable Instagram messaging permissions in your Meta app and obtain the required access token.

Connect to HaveAI
Authorize your account from the Instagram integration section in the panel and complete the webhook connection.

Test it
Send a DM to your business account and check the assistant's response.
Messaging policies
Similar to WhatsApp, Instagram also has time-window and content rules for automated messaging. Since your assistant replies to incoming DMs, typical support scenarios stay within these rules.
